Last updated: July 10, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how MyMetrix LLC ("MyMetrix LLC," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Napzmobile application for iPhone and Apple Watch (the "App"), our website atnapzapp.com (the "Site"), and any related services we make available (collectively, the "Services").

Napz is available for iPhone and Apple Watch, coming soon to the App Store. It is not available on Android.

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Napz is a rest-break timer and personal habit-tracking tool intended for general wellness and productivity. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

2. Who we are

Data controller: MyMetrix LLC
Postal address: 10030 Daybreak Gln, Parrish, FL 34219, United States
Support and privacy contact:support@mymetrix.co
Website:https://napzapp.com

For privacy-related requests, please email us from the address associated with your account when possible so we can verify your identity before completing certain requests.

3. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to:

  • Information collected through the App on iPhone;
  • Information stored in your account and synced through our cloud services;
  • Information processed by third-party providers that help us operate the Services; and
  • Basic technical information generated when you visit our public marketing Site.

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that may be linked from the Services or used to sign in to the App. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies.

4. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services, which features you enable, and which sign-in method you choose.

4.1 Account and authentication information

If you create or use an account, we and our authentication provider may process:

  • Email address;
  • Firebase user ID and authentication tokens;
  • Display name, if provided by you or your sign-in provider;
  • Email verification status;
  • Authentication provider identifiers (for example, email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In); and
  • Password reset and email verification request metadata.

Authentication is provided by Google Firebase Authentication. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, Apple or Google may share limited account information with us according to your choices and their policies.

4.2 Nap, history, and app activity information

When you use Napz, we process information you create or generate in the App, including:

  • Planned, active, completed, and cancelled rest sessions;
  • Selected nap type, planned duration, actual duration, start time, and end time;
  • Wake method and related session settings;
  • Selected soundscape or audio mix settings;
  • Optional post-rest check-in ratings, notes, scores, and derived insights;
  • Session source (for example, iPhone);
  • Any optional heart-rate estimate fields associated with a session, where available; and
  • Aggregated history, trends, and statistics calculated from your session data.

This information may be stored locally on your device and, when you are signed in, synced toGoogle Cloud Firestore so it can be available across your devices.

4.3 Preferences and settings

We store preferences you configure in the App, such as:

  • Default nap type and custom duration;
  • Remember-last-used nap preference;
  • Wake, fade, and audio settings;
  • Wait for Sleep enablement and related timing settings;
  • Planned reminder settings;
  • Apple Health sync preference; and
  • Other in-app configuration options.

4.4 Subscription and purchase information

Napz offers optional Premium features through in-app subscriptions processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number or complete billing credentials.

We and our subscription provider may process:

  • Premium entitlement status;
  • Product identifiers, package identifiers, and offering identifiers;
  • Purchase, renewal, expiration, and restore status;
  • Anonymous or pseudonymous customer identifiers linked to your account; and
  • Subscription-related diagnostic or support information.

Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, which is linked to your Firebase user ID when you are signed in. Apple processes payment, billing, refunds, and tax collection through your Apple ID.

4.5 Apple Health information

If you explicitly enable Apple Health integration, Napz maywrite completed rest-session records to the Apple Health app as sleep analysis entries.

Unless you separately grant read access through Apple’s permission system in a future version of the App, Napz is designed to request write-only Health permissions for this feature. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, and we do not sell Apple Health data.

Apple Health data remains subject to Apple’s platform controls. You can review or revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

4.6 On-device motion and rest timing

Optional features such as Wait for Sleep may use on-device motion estimates on your iPhone to decide when to start counting planned rest time. These estimates stay on your device for timing the session. They do not determine sleep stages and are not medical measurements.

4.7 Notifications and device permissions

If you enable notifications, Apple’s notification services may process device tokens and delivery metadata needed to send wake alerts and optional planned rest reminders. We do not use notifications for unrelated advertising.

The App may also request or rely on other Apple system permissions you control, including notifications, background audio, and HealthKit.

4.8 Technical, diagnostic, and security information

We and our service providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the Services, such as:

  • Device type, operating system version, and app version;
  • Language, locale, and time zone;
  • IP address and general network information;
  • Crash, error, and performance diagnostic data;
  • Security logs and abuse-prevention signals; and
  • Basic server and database operation logs.

We use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) in the App to understand aggregate product usage, such as app opens and nap session events. Analytics may process device identifiers, app version, and event metadata according to Google’s and Firebase’s policies. We do not use App analytics to sell personal information.

4.9 Website visitors

Our public Site is primarily informational. When you visit the Site, Firebase Hosting and related infrastructure providers may process basic request logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps.

We also use Google Analytics 4 on the Site to understand aggregate traffic (for example, page views and approximate geography). Google may process data such as IP address, device/browser information, and pages visited according to Google’s policies. We configure Analytics with IP anonymization where available. We do not use Site analytics to sell personal information or to serve third-party advertising on the Site.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message and any contact details you provide.

5. How we collect information

We collect information:

  • Directly from you when you create an account, configure settings, start or complete a rest session, submit a check-in, contact support, or make subscription choices;
  • Automatically when you use the App, sync data, pair devices, or receive notifications;
  • From Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, and other providers that help us authenticate users, process subscriptions, host data, or deliver platform services; and
  • From your device when you grant permissions such as notifications or Apple Health write access.

6. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • Create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
  • Store, sync, and display your rest history, preferences, and insights;
  • Deliver timers, wake alerts, reminders, and soundscapes;

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing.

Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide the Services you request, including account access, syncing, timers, and Premium features;
